BORT SellaTex® Plus - Quervain

Tendovaginitis de Quervain (carpal tunnel syndrome in the region of the thumb side of the wrist) is a chronic overstress symptom, which is primarily caused by frequent abduction, that is to say movement of the thumb away from the palm as, for example, caused by intense smartphone use (tapping/scrolling with the thumb). In such cases, immobilisation of the thumb and wrist is necessary.

Our BORT SellaTex® Plus – Quervain serves to stabilise the metacarpophalangeal joint, saddle joint and end joint of the thumb. In order to relieve the pressure-sensitive area, we have equipped the wrist brace with a large window.
